Types of Acrylic Edge Finishes
Types of acrylic edges we offer. Note that for specially treated edges, additional charge may be applied.
Saw Edge
The economically friendly edge. Perpendicular to the surface.
Bevel/Chamfer
The structure of this edge is not perpendicular to the surface and is typically 45 degrees. Has a softer feel.
Bull Nose
Rounded on top and bottom of the edge for an even finish. Has a softer feel.
Diamond Polished
Perpendicular to the materials surface. Using a polishing machine the edge gets a diamond, see through finish.
Jointed
Edge is treated using a jointer, which is a machine that evens out the edges. This is to get rid of any saw marks with a more consistent pattern.
Flame Polish
Edge treated with a Hydrogen Oxygen Mix to get a glossy finish.
Laser Cut Finish
